The 34 walking, driving and canoe tours that the National Park Service has put together are excellent you should check them out.

IMHO, the best fall foliage view in the valley is from Lookout Rock in the Blackstone River & Canal Heritage State Park in Northbridge and Uxbridge. This park is the basis of the NPS Blackstone Canal walking tour (named River Bend Farm on their web site).

You also might find some of the Blackstone Valley stuff on my personal site useful.Paul Hutchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08401742497201864053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-689576615780782884.post-47636768082353288912010-09-16T16:49:04.907-04:002010-09-16T16:49:04.907-04:00I had a great trip down memory lane thru your foot...I had a great trip down memory lane thru your footsteps trip to Upton,Mass. i grew up there from age 7-14 in the 60's and 70's. I learned to swim in Pratt Pond and lived in the huge 200 year old farm house at 2 Gore Rd. that butts up along the Upton State Forest! I have many wonderful memories from that little town in the valley! Glad to see it still has that 'old time' feel to it! Thanks for sharing your trip!!kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08837122865721983151noreply@blogger.com
